On Tuesday 9th April, the Ladies Section staged an early Easter fun golf day. The plan was to play 18 holes, wearing Easter Bonnets, playing in teams of 3. The format was ONE score to count on the first hole, TWO scores on the second hole and THREE scores to count on the third, etc... hence the waltz!
Sadly, the inclement weather forced us to cut short the competition to just 9 holes. However, we all wore our bonnets in the clubhouse after golf, and enjoyed hot cross buns, made by Liz Jardine (thank you Liz), with our coffee. It was wonderful to hear all the fun and laughter ringing around the room as the ladies chatted together.
